The 2012 World Series was the 83rd edition of Miami Little League's (MLL) championship series. The series matched up the Cincinnati Reds, champions of the National League (NL), and the Oakland Athletics, champions of the American League (AL). The series saw the Reds defeat the Athletics, four games to three, to win the franchise's first World Series, making them the last of the original sixteen teams to win a World Series. Nathaniel O'Sullivan, with nine RBIs, seven hits, five home runs, and twelve runs scored, was named the MVP.
