Dustin George Vanderbilt (born September 15, 2000 in Pritchett, Colorado) is a Little League player who plays for the Cincinnati Reds. He lives with his cousin, Nathaniel, his twin brother Sam, and his older sister Amber in Boston, Massachusetts.
Early Life[]
Samuel Vanderbilt, and his twin brother Dustin, was born on September 15, 2000 in Pritchett, Colorado. His dad, Edwin, was an ornothologist. Edwin's wife, Isabelle, disappeared about a year after the twins' birth. A week later, a Pritchett citizen told him that every year, about ten people disappeared from Pritchett. Edwin, according to Dustin, "went crazy", and he decided to move out of Pritchett. A few years later, Edwin found out that she had just gone to Asia for a few months to study snakes. When she came back, Edwin and the twins were gone.
On November 5, 2005, with Isabelle, they moved to Boston. The twins made the Houston Astros in the BLL. In 2009, they were traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for Nicholas Gardella. After two seasons with the Blue Jays, they were traded to the Cincinnati Reds for John Peralta. The Reds won the World Series in 2012, the Reds' second ever, making the Vanderbilt twins the only people to ever win championships in all four sports (hockey, baseball, basketball, and football) in one season.
